Electronic voltage protector for domestic refrigerators application.

This electronic protection device is suitable for use in up to 27 cubic feet domestic refrigerators, freezers, water dispenser and under cabinet minibars.

Operation:

The electronic protection device incorporates a time delay to avoid short cycling.

Every time that the device is plugged into a wall outlet or the power supply is turned on, the device checks if the voltage is inside the tolerance range according to the technical specifications and a 3 min delay time starts to allow refrigerant pressure to equalize.

If the voltage goes out of the tolerance range the device turns off the refrigerator until reaching normal conditions again and delay time is elapsed.

If the voltage is normal, the green light turns on and the refrigerator starts after delay time.

If the voltage is too low or too high, the corresponding red light turns on and the refrigerator remains off until the normal voltage values are reached and the delay time is elapsed.
